Microsoft Österreich startet mit dem 24. Oktober 2007 in ein neues Kommunikationszeitalter: Mit dem Start von Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) bringt das Unternehmen die technologische Basis für neue Echtzeit-Kommunikations-Lösungen auf den Markt. Der neue Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 erleichtert gemeinsam mit dem Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 unmittelbare und effiziente Kommunikation: Damit sind nun alle E-Mails, Sprach- und Faxnachrichten in der gewohnten Outlook Oberfläche vereint. Präsenzinformation, Instant Messaging und VoIP sind in die Office Anwendungen integriert. Ein Klick genügt und schon kann der Anwender problemlos eine Audio- oder Videokonferenz starten.
